What Matters Most
Life is surprising, that’s for sure.
As we navigate these tumultuous times, we find ourselves thinking about our core values and looking for ways to maintain alignment with what matters most to us.
Meyer Wells was founded with the spirit of generous partnership and connection and collaboration has always been at the core of our organization. We believe that we are stronger together than we are apart. This belief has us committed to staying connected with each other even as it becomes temporarily necessary for us all to keep our distance.
We hope you also find comfort and strength in connecting with your friends, family and your community however you can and will remember to look out for, and to offer help to, anyone who might be having a tough time.
We are nourished by the rich vitality and texture of the natural world. We feel the need to frequently step away from our electronic devices, unplug from the newsfeeds and get out into nature.
Moving our bodies in the fresh air allows our frazzled nervous systems to reset. We hope you’re all finding some time to get outside every day. Take a walk, throw a stick for the dog, ride a bike, feel the wind in your hair, the sun on your face and breathe deeply.
We are guided by a hardworking pragmatism, we find it satisfying to work at making tangible things come from good ideas. We know that our work won’t happen without each of us faithfully making our daily efforts to keep the ball rolling.
Applying this knowledge to a larger context we see clearly how important it is for all of us to do whatever we can, wherever we can, to help keep our society moving despite the current disruptions to our familiar patterns.
Our dedicated crew of craftspeople are still hard at work building beautiful furniture in our shop in Sumner, Washington. Our diligent client support folks are working from home as much as possible these days as they continue to stay in close contact with our customers about current and upcoming work.
Our whole Meyer Wells team sincerely appreciates your continued patronage and looks forward to working with you soon.
Let’s stay connected. Let’s stay healthy. Let’s keep things moving!
